COVID-19 Restrictions on Bring-Back Buckets

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the 2020 Bring-back Bucket will be honored through December 31, 2021. Until current restrictions are lifted, they are not refillable in our theaters due to modified health codes to prevent the spread of the virus.

Beginning May 8th and until we are able to offer refills again, bring your current bucket in and we will give you $1.50 off the purchase price of any one bag of popcorn. Your choice of size! Limit of one bag per purchase, per bucket.

Please be sure the bucket is clean before bringing it into the theater.

2020-2021 Bring-Back Buckets are
​at the Ritz and Motor Vu Theaters now!

Each year we offer a limited number of refillable plastic popcorn buckets for sale to our value minded customers. Refillable throughout the year for the advertised refill price, they offer our patrons an awesome bargain on our tasty popcorn. Purchasing and refilling the bucket pays for itself in savings over buying a full-priced popcorn after several visits to our theaters, all while helping support our theaters.

This program not only helps support the yearly maintenance on the projectors at our theaters, but also helps with several other projects each year that help keep our theaters operational. Some examples of what your support of this program has let us do:

• Purchase the bulb for the projector yearly at the Motor Vu Theater
• Purchase bulbs, filters, and other equipment for the projector at the Ritz when needed
• Funded emergency repairs to the projector at the Ritz 3 years ago
• Funded several repairs to the projector at the Motor Vu over the past 4 years
• Ongoing repainting of the theaters
• And many more projects to keep the theaters running that you may not see!​

There are a few rules for the Bring-Back Bucket promotion at our theaters:

• Buckets are only valid in the calendar year purchased
• Buckets are refillable for the posted refill price at the theater, currently $2.00 (December, 2019).
  
  • We reserve the right to adjust this price in case of changes to sales tax rates during the promotion period.
    
• Buckets are usable at both the Ritz Theater and the  Motor Vu Theater
• Each promotional period ends on 12/31 of the calendar year unless otherwise stated
• Buckets presented to be refilled must be clean and in good overall condition to be honored
• Snack bar staff have the right to refuse to fill a bucket if they determine it to be not in good condition or dirty
• Current, valid Bring-Back Buckets are the only exception to our no outside containers policy at the Ritz Theater
• Past year's buckets will not be filled under any circumstance and will not be allowed in the theaters
  • ​This is part of our no outside containers policy
• Refunds on bucket purchases are not given for any reason
